Narrative of Services:

I provide evidence-based treatment serving adolescents, young adults, and adults including assessment/treatment of OCD, anxiety, co-occurring issues such as perfectionism, social anxiety, and more. My approach is drawn from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and inference-based cognitive behavioral therapy (ICBT) depending on best fit for clients. Approximately 70% of my clients have OCD and anxiety related issues. I use a collaborative approach, involving parent/family and other professionals.

Training Description:

I have over 20 years of experience as a clinician. I obtained my graduate degree in Social Work while working at the Yale Child Study Center receiving intensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Clinical internship training at a University Counseling setting focused on anxiety disorders. Since, I have continued my focus on OCD and anxiety based issues, receiving training from the IOCDF BTTI, the IOCDF Training Institute, the Massachusetts General Hospital Psychiatry Academy, and ongoing consultation and supervision from the Yale OCD Clinic as well as leaders in the field.

Diversity Statement:

I work with diverse clients from a wide range of ethnic/cultural backgrounds. My clinical training is rooted in cultural competency and I have attended a variety of trainings, classes, and conferences focusing on the complexity of race, ethnicity, religion/spirituality, socioeconomic background, and gender identity.
