I currently work full time for NOCD and Part time for Thrive Counseling Services. I specialize in treating people with OCD, which is approximately 80% of my cliental. I also specialize in treating people with PTSD, anxiety disorders, depression, and body focused repetitive behaviors (Trichotillomania, Excoriation, Hoarding, and Tics).
I am a licensed therapist with a Master’s in Social Work from UNC Charlotte (2017). I began my career in Child Protective Services and part-time therapy, and currently work full time with NOCD, specializing in OCD, BFRBs, and Prolonged Exposure therapy for PTSD. I also see clients part time at Thrive Counseling through in-person and telehealth sessions. In 2024, I became certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), a modality I’m passionate about integrating into my work. I strive to create a compassionate, collaborative space where clients feel empowered to grow, heal, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence and clarity.
I am a licensed therapist with experience working with BIPOC individuals across a range of religious and cultural backgrounds. I provide affirming, culturally responsive care to children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. My background includes roles in Child Protective Services, specialized work with OCD, BFRBs, and PTSD at NOCD, and part-time therapy at Thrive Counseling. I’m certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and committed to creating a safe, inclusive space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported in their unique journeys toward healing and growth.
I am a licensed mental health professional with extensive experience working with diverse populations across racial, cultural, gender, and socioeconomic backgrounds. My graduate training included coursework in multicultural counseling and social justice, which laid the foundation for a culturally responsive approach to care. I have worked in community mental health and private practice, supporting BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ individuals. I engage in yearly training focused on cultural humility and anti-oppressive practice, and all of my continuing education includes a focus on cultural competency. I strive to create a safe, inclusive, and affirming space for all clients.
