Veronika Spicer PhD
Dr. Spicer works with adult clients at the Anxiety Treatment Center of Greater Toledo, Ohio. The majority of her clients have different types of OCD, including postpartum, religious/scrupulosity, pedophilia, harm, sexual orientation, contamination, responsibility, relationship, and other types. Many of her clients also have other anxiety struggles, such as panic attacks, social anxiety, health anxiety, generalized anxiety, trauma, and phobias.
As part of the treatment process, Dr. Spicer enjoys helping clients improve the quality of their interpersonal relationships.
Dr. Spicer has been working with OCD, OCD Spectrum Disorders, and anxiety disorders for over 14 years. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Ohio University in 2010. During her clinical internship at the Upstate Medical University, in Syracuse, NY, she was part of the team treating anxiety disorders in both individual and group formats. She has been trained in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for OCD.
