Narrative of Services:

I have provided successful treatment to 35 people (children, adolescents and adults) who were struggling with OCD. My treatment approach is based on the gold standard for treating OCD, namely, CBT with exposure and response prevention. I also focus on correcting cognitive distortions and broadening your areas of healthy functioning so that you may reclaim your life. We will work collaboratively. While I integrate some mindfulness and stress reduction in my work, the main focus is on exposure and response prevention, correcting faulty thought patterns, and restoring healthy and fulfilling functioning. I work with individuals, couples and other family members.

Facilities accessible by clients of all mobility levels: No

Training Description:

I’ve been practicing as a clinical social worker and psychotherapist for over 25 years, and have been fortunate to train and consult with leading experts in the fields of OCD, anxiety disorders and related problems. I have completed the Pediatric and Adult Behavior Therapy Training Institutes through the IOCDF. I have presented numerous workshops on the subjects of anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD and mental health. My training and experience includes advanced levels in individual and family therapy, and crisis intervention. In addition to my private practice, I have many years of experience working in hospital, school and community clinic settings.

Diversity Statement:

I have been trained in, and work with diverse and multicultural populations including various oppressed minorities. My practice also accounts for racial, cultural and religious differences as well as the 2SLGBTQ community. We will work collaboratively together, as a team, in order to help you to reclaim your life from oppressive OCD.

I have attended numerous workshops on equity, diversity and inclusive practices, and this is reflected in my work and general attitudes as well. I have successfully worked with clients from a variety of cultural, religious, and racial backgrounds as well as people from the 2SLGBTQ community.
