Approximately 50% of my case load is diagnosed with OCD
With your unique expertise of your experiences, we will collaborate to find a comprehensive, flexible treatment plan that is suitable for nuanced situations and dual diagnosis. We’ll explore the patterns that shape your experiences and develop strategies that align with your values. I integrate evidence-based therapies with psychoeducation to offer a highly individualized approach to care. By balancing acceptance and change, we can work towards a life in which you have agency and freedom of choice; in which you are moving toward what’s important–not only away from what’s scary. Therapy isn’t about erasing struggle – rather: changing your relationship to it.
I am an OCD provider with lived experience! I frequently partner with the Ann Arbor Anxiety and OCD Center, and I am on the education committee of the International OCD Foundation.
Particularly as a social worker, I am committed to justice and providing accessible, equitable treatment. Cultural competency (and / or cultural humility) is an integral piece of working in this helping profession and has been a focus in my studies.
OCD Courses run on an as-needed basis
