Narrative of Services:

Dr. Ruppenicker specializes in treating OCD and related disorders. Approximately 75% of the practice is with individuals with OCD. Dr. Ruppenicker has helped over 1000 individuals using Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP). She focuses on individualized treatment to help clients gain control of their lives equipping patients with tools to manage anxiety every day. Dr. Ruppenicker works with Mood and other Anxiety co-occurring disorders, ADHD, Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs) and Trauma as co-occurring.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

Mood, other Anxiety disorders, ADHD, BFRBs and Trauma. Treatment planning is individualized.

Training Description:

Dr. Ruppenicker received training in ERP through the BTTI in 2012 and has had over 20 years experience applying it across diverse populations. She does continuing education in OCD, Anxiety, and other co-occurring conditions every year. She has treated children from age 5 to seniors 75+ years of age.

Dr. Ruppenicker is experienced working with culturally and socioeconomically diverse clients. She has worked with a number of individuals with co-occurring gender identity issues and OCD. She has extensive experience working with the LGBTQ community.

Dr. Ruppenicker trained in a psychology doctoral program with a focus on gender and cultural diversity. She is a Spanish speaker, having lived in Mexico and Puerto Rico.
