Claire Picard LPC, ATR-BC
I offer private virtual sessions for adults and adolescents with anxiety and OCD. About 50% of my practice is strictly OCD. In my time as a provider specializing in anxiety and OCD, I have treated about 50 clients with OCD.
I have worked in a Pediatric Anxiety Clinic specializing in the treatment of anxiety disorders and OCD and based in a Community Mental Health center for the past 4 years. I am directly supervised by University of Pennsylvania Faculty. To work in this program we are required to do a week-long intensive training, and ongoing seminars on OCD related topics. We also meet weekly for ERP focused group supervision. I currently supervise master’s level students in administering ERP and CBT. I also have a private practice for Adults with anxiety and OCD.
My entire career as a counselor has primarily been in Community Mental Health. I am dedicated to provided quality, evidence-based care to all populations based in Philadelphia.
As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community I am dedicated to provided quality CBT/ERP treatment for all individuals regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. I am consistently reflecting on how the interventions and exposures I use are evidenced based while remaining affirming to my client’s identities. I have taken trainings in Cultural Competency in administering ERP and CBT and we frequently discuss cultural competency in my weekly peer supervision group.
