Meredith Owens PhD
My private practice offers cognitive-behavioral treatment for children, adolescents and young adults with anxiety, OCD and related conditions. I work both individually and with families, as clinically indicated. My treatment plans are individualized and typically include a combination of ERP, ACT and SPACE principles, also drawing from family systems models as needed. I estimate that I have treated over 100 individuals and families with OCD and related conditions since I was licensed as a psychologist in 2007.
Attended Master Clinician Workshop in Cognitive-Behavioral Treatment of Pediatric OCD at UPENN June 10-11 2010. Attended training and completed supervision/certification process in Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) March 9-10 2014. Obtained national board certification (ABPP) in Behavioral and Cognitive Psychology in 2015. Completed training in Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) February 20-21 2022. Have been providing CBT to children, adolescent and young adults with OCD and related conditions for 15 years.
