Narrative of Services:

I provide individual treatment for adults via telehealth sessions. For those seeking treatment for OCD, I use Exposure and Response Prevention in addition to cognitive strategies. Coming from a strong background in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, I tend to incorporate DBT skills and strategies into treatment as needed, including mindfulness and reality acceptance skills.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

Autism and OCD often co-occur; additionally, they have overlapping presentations and can be mistaken for one another. If you’re uncertain about your diagnosis, you need a skilled therapist who understands the autistic neurotype and is up to speed on both neuroaffirming care, and treatment of OCD.

Much of my practice is comprised of people struggling with pervasive difficulty regulating their emotions, including many meeting criteria for borderline personality disorder and complex posttraumatic stress disorder. When these issues co-occur with OCD, special care is needed to determine how to best address these issues.

Training Description:

I have undergone training in Exposure and Response Prevention through Massachusetts General Hospital’s Psychiatry Academy training program, which is endorsed by the IOCDF. I am also a Linehan Board Certified DBT therapist and have been a member of an adherent DBT consultation team since 2015.

Diversity Statement:

I am a white cisgender woman who provides treatment through a neuroaffirming lens. I consider myself an ally to those in the LGBTQ+ community.
