Narrative of Services:

I specialize in treating OCD and related disorders, with over half of my practice dedicated to OCD. My entire caseload consists of individuals with anxiety disorders, depression, or PTSD. With over 15 years in private practice, I have treated hundreds of individuals with OCD using evidence-based approaches, including Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP) and Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT). My practice focuses on providing specialized, individualized treatment to help clients manage symptoms and regain control over their lives.

Training Description:

I have over 15 years of experience treating OCD and OCD Spectrum Disorders. My training includes advanced specialization in Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT) and Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP) at the Cognitive Behavioral Institute. Additionally, I received graduate and supervised clinical training at the University of Hartford and Yale for OCD. My clinical work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, integrating ERP and I-CBT to address the unique needs of individuals with OCD. I have also engaged in continued education and specialized training to refine my expertise in treating OCD across diverse populations including perinatal populations.

Diversity Statement:

I have extensive experience working with multicultural populations, providing therapy to individuals from diverse racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds. My practice serves a wide range of clients, including LGBTQ+ individuals and those from various religious and socioeconomic backgrounds. I emphasize culturally responsive care, tailoring evidence-based treatments like ERP and I-CBT to align with each client’s unique values and experiences. I have a specialty focus of perinatal populations.

My education and training emphasize cultural competency, including graduate and clinical training at the University of Hartford, where I worked with diverse populations. I have experience treating individuals from various racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, and LGBTQ+ backgrounds, as well as neurodivergent individuals, in community mental health, forensic, low-income, inpatient, and outpatient settings. I integrate culturally responsive care into evidence-based treatments like ERP and I-CBT and continually pursue education on diversity, equity, and inclusion. My approach is trauma-informed and individualized, ensuring that clients feel respected and understood in their unique experiences while receiving effective, tailored treatment.
