Narrative of Services:

Since 2021, over 75% of my clients have been individuals with OCD, treated using Exposure and Response Prevention therapy (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Upon recognizing the critical need for highly skilled OCD specialists, in 2022 I shifted my practice to focus almost exclusively on OCD and related disorders. I have since treated numerous individuals with OCD and continue to provide specialized, evidence-based care tailored to their needs.

Training Description:

I am a licensed counselor with 10+ years of experience in mental health and have specialized in treating OCD since 2021. My training includes advanced multi-day workshops, including through the International OCD Foundation’s Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI). I have completed over a year of regular consultation with leading OCD specialists and continue to pursue ongoing education in evidence-based approaches such as ERP and ACT. I am dedicated to providing effective treatment and continually advancing my expertise to support individuals with OCD.

Diversity Statement:

My practice, based in Las Vegas, NV, serves clients via telehealth in California, Nevada, Washington, New Mexico, and Vermont. I prioritize ongoing education and personal experiences to deepen my understanding of cultural diversity and intersectionality. I am committed to inclusivity and continually seek out approaches that best support my clients’ unique cultural backgrounds and values.

I grew up and worked in New Mexico until my early 30s, when I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. This upbringing and professional experience shaped my multicultural competency, providing me with firsthand understanding of diverse cultural perspectives and the challenges faced by various populations. I have also completed specialized training in cultural competency, focusing on intersectionality and the impact of cultural factors on mental health. I continue to seek education to adapt my approach to best support clients from diverse backgrounds, fostering an inclusive and respectful environment.
