Molly Martinez PhD
Dr. Martinez is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing psychological assessment and treatment of OCD, anxiety disorders, and other psychological disorders in Richardson, TX and the greater Dallas area. Her private practice is called Specialists in OCD & Anxiety Recovery (SOAR). Approximately 70% of her patients have OCD. She is available for outpatient treatment as well as individualized, intensive outpatient treatment in the home, workplace, school, and community settings, as clinically appropriate.
Dr. Martinez treats OCD and anxiety disorders along with co-occuring disorders in children and adolescents (commonly, tics/Tourrette’s, ADHD, oppositional defiance, and/or depressive disorders) and adults (commonly, tics/Tourette’s, depressive disorders, and bipolar disorder).

Molly Martinez earned her PhD from Ohio State University and completed an APA-accredited internship at Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago (the Northwestern University-affiliated children’s hospital). Dr. Martinez has treated OCD & anxiety disorders in children & adolescents since she began seeing patients in 2006. She has sought out specialized training in ERP and OCD, including a 2-day training at University of Pennsylvania’s Child and Adolescent OCD, Tic, Trich and Anxiety Group (COTTAGe) and IOCDF’s Behavior Training Therapy Institute. Dr. Martinez practiced as a licensed psychologist in Ohio prior to moving to Texas in 2016.
