Azra Kim LCSW
My areas of expertise include Anxiety Disorders (generalized anxiety and worry, social anxiety, panic disorder, agoraphobia, and specific phobias), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, and Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors (compulsive hair pulling and skin picking).
To make sure treatment is effective, I utilize evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I have been working with adults who experience anxiety disorders, including OCD, since 2013.
I completed a two-year post-graduate fellowship at the University of Michigan Health System’s Department of Psychiatry, where I received extensive training in evidence-based modalities to help clients experiencing anxiety disorders and perinatal/postpartum-related distress.
I am a certified graduate of the Trichotillomania Learning Center’s Professional Training Institute on Trichotillomania and Related Behaviors, as well as the International OCD Foundation’s Behavior Therapy Training Institute for OCD.
I also hold a Certification in Perinatal Mental Health from Postpartum Support International.
