Carla Kenney MA, LMHC
Carla offers therapy in the office, in the client’s home (local to Central MA only), in the community, and also through teletherapy.
90% of her practice consists of individuals who are diagnosed with OCD or an OCD Spectrum Disorder.
Most clients present with more than one diagnosis. Often, these can be treated together, but sometimes another specialist may need to join the treatment team if a comorbid diagnosis complicates the treatment of OCD. Carla has worked side by side with clinicians throughout her career and welcomes the insight, expertise, and guidance of other specialists.
Carla Kenney, MA, LMHC, has been treating children, teens, and adults with OCD/OCD Spectrum Disorders for twenty years. She was trained at the OCD Institute at McLean Hospital under the supervision of Harvard affiliated professors. Carla’s approach to treatment uses evidence based practices, such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness.
Carla has also served on the boards of OCD Massachusetts and OCD Rhode Island as President and Vice President.
