I specialize in the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and OCD-related disorders. I have extensive experience and training in the treatment of OCD, including the Purely Obsessional (Pure-O) subtypes. I also have experience in and frequently work with clients with other Anxiety Disorder such as Social Anxiety, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Phobias as well as perfectionism, Depression, performance and test anxiety, stress, life transitions and relationship issues. About 85% of my clinical work involves anxiety issues.

My background is South Asian and I have in-depth knowledge and understanding of South Asian cultures. I have worked with many South Asian adults and young adults in the context of OCD and anxiety as well as creating an understanding of generational cultural and/or religious experiences and expectations.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I graduated from Columbia University with my Masters in Counseling Psychology. I trained at The Center for Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy that specializes in treating OCD and co-occurring disorders. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ExRP) as well as incorporate principles and techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to my practice. I am currently in private practice and offer Telehealth services.
