Yvette Fruchter PhD
I currently offer individual teletherapy at my practice. The majority of the individuals I work with are seeking therapy for OCD, OC spectrum, or anxiety-related disorder. I use cognitive behavioral therapy methods including exposure and response prevention, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness and compassion based therapies, as well as integrating components of dialectical behavior therapy.
I received my PhD in Clinical Psychology from Yeshiva University in 2015. I have obtained specialized training in exposure and response prevention and other evidence-based treatment methods through externships, my internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the New Orleans VA, and while working at a renowned New York group private practice that specializes in OCD and related disorders. I have experience treating OCD on a weekly basis as well as more intensively when indicated. I enjoy providing therapy for pre-teens, adolescents, and adults with anxiety, OCD, and OC spectrum disorders.
