Alyssa Faro PhD
Director of Clinical Services
My private practice is exclusively devoted to evidence-based treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders in both youth and adults.
In addition to my private practice, I am the Director of Clinical services at OCDI Jr. where I oversee clinical training, programming, admissions, and supervision. I am currently a member of the faculty at the Harvard Medical School.
I have more than a decade of experience treating OCD and related disorders with ERP and other evidence-based treatments such as CBT, ACT, and SPACE. Through my work at the OCD Institute for Children and Adolescents (ODCI Jr.) at McLean Hospital I further specialized in the treatment of depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder and trichotillomania. Before licensure, I trained in the evidence-based treatment of OCD, anxiety disorders, and other co-occurring disorders at UMass Medical School, Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital, and Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital.
