Treatment starts with a throughout assessment of the client. Based on the initial assessment, an individualized treatment plan is designed to address each presenting problem using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and other evidence-based methods. I treat co-occurring anxiety disorders and mood disorders.

I graduated with honors from University of Houston in 2012. I earned my Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from University of Houston – Clear Lake in 2014. During my practicum training and internship, I had the privilege of working with clients struggling with OCD, anxiety, and Tic Disorders. Since finishing my graduate program, working at a residential treatment facility specializing in OCD and anxiety gave me valuable experience in designing and implementing Exposure and Response Prevention. I have been working with individuals of all ages struggling with OCD and anxiety and work especially well with children.
I grew up in Finland and have lived in multiple continents around the world, which gives me a unique multicultural perspective. I have a deep respect for cultural and societal factors and am always eager to learn about the cultural background of my clients.
