Narrative of Services:

Thrive Therapy is an outpatient Center that provides individual, family and group therapy. Thrive also offers an intensive outpatient program (IOP) with an OCD track that uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Exposure and response Prevention (ERP).

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I am a trauma informed therapist, treating trauma and stress-related disorders. I incorporate the use of a variety of techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and mindfulness strategies. I also utilize Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to treat clients who have mood disorders and are experiencing mood dysregulation, poor interpersonal relationship, impulsivity, self-harming behaviors and/or suicidal ideation.

Training Description:

I have been treating OCD since 2018. I have attended several IOCDF conferences including 2020, 2021 and 2022. I strive to be research informed and use primarily evidence-based treatments. I completed Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) in 2022 and received Consultation from Alec Pollard, PhD.

Treatment Groups:

This is a group for people who are struggling with OCD and want to further the work that they are doing on their OCD.

This is not a support group.

While you may feel support form other group members, this group is focused on learning more about OCD, gaining skills, and even doing exposure together. In group we will be creating exposures that are tailored to your needs, and helping you process the experience in real time. Being in a group allows you to experience more exposure than being alone, but also a community of others who are experiencing something similar to you.

If you are a new client and do not have an established fear hierarchy you will need to meet with one of our therapists or complete a short intake with Thrive in order to join this group.
