Jennie E. Crooks LICSW
Founder, Psychotherapist
80-90% of my current panel is in treatment for OCD and/or OCD related disorders.
I treat Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder using Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged-Exposure for PTSD (PE-PTSD), or Written Exposure Therapy (WET).
I treat Depressive Disorders with Behavioral Activation (BA), Problem-Solving Therapy (PST), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and integrate components of exposure and response prevention into our depression relapse prevention strategies.
I support those in life transitions (college, retirement, new career path, etc.) with ACT.
I’m a licensed clinical social worker and provide ACT-Enhanced ERP for adults with OCD/OCD Spectrum Disorders. I’ve treated patients with OCD since 2019 and, as an ACT practitioner and behaviorally-oriented therapist, incorporate exposure into all treatment plans. I graduated from the University of Washington and have completed:
OCD-specific: MGHCME CBT for OCD training in 2018, and BTTI training in 2021.
Exposure-specific: PE-PTSD (2019), WET (2021)
ACT-specific: Intro 2 Day training (2015), Bootcamp (4 Day Training in 2018), ACT 2: Clinical Skills-Building Intensive (2019), ACT 3 – Mastering ACT: Bridging the Gap between Conceptual Understanding and Practical Application (2019).
