This office provide individual, group, couples, families, and EAP services. Also, there are CEUs for social workers, clinical supervision, consultative services, and testing. This office treat individuals that are three years old to older adults. Some current and/past disorders treated are skin picking, trichotillomania, OCD, scrupulosity, and eating disorders. There are 10 percent of my clients that struggles with these related issues. There are many incidences where I get to treatment persons dealing with these concerns after providing treatment for something else and/or during short-term therapy (e.g., EAP/military services, etc.).

Attended the BTTI, workshops on OCD- Subtypes and the Relevance of ERP, and Scrupulosity. I participate in the local OCD consultation group.
This office provide treatment to 1/3 of White, Blacks, and Latinos/Latinx (equally) and the rest falls in the categories of Biracial, and Asian. Occasionally, this office provide treatment to an Indigenous person. There are a wide range of individual with different religious backgrounds and sexual orientations. This office’s motto is “try to be a rainbow in someone’s cloud” where we welcome all individuals from different backgrounds.
My experiences has been working with a wide range of persons from White/European, Black/African American, Latinos/Latinx, Indigenous, and Asian (e.g. Pakistan, Indian, Chinese, etc.). As a persons from the BIPOC community and one of my person from another country, receiving ongoing education has always been my premise in the work that I do. My education has been from social work graduate classes, working in the educational settings for many years, studying languages for eight years or more, and attending cultural humility classes to renew my licenses in the different states that I am licensed.
