Ascension Illinois Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital (ABBHH) offers levels of care such as inpatient hospitalization, partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). The Center for OCD and Anxiety PHP/IOP at ABBHH serves individuals 12 years through the lifespan struggling with conditions such as: Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Social Phobia, Panic Disorder, Agoraphobia, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Specific Phobia, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Individuals come to program for 3-5 hours a day, Monday-Friday to receive individual, group, and family therapy in addition to medication management. Our program utilizes evidenced based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Several of our patients may step-down from Ascension Foglia Family Foundation Residential Treatment Center (FRTC) to our PHP/IOP.

At ABBHH, we provide many different treatment options and programs. In addition to OCD, we specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of many mental illnesses, including: alcohol and substance use disorder, depression, panic attacks, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar, and schizophrenia.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

Treatment for substance use disorders and Anxiety/OCD occurs at Foglia family RTC with traditional 12 step models augmented by ERP and exposure therapy. Treatment for co-occurring disorders at Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health hospital occur in PHP and IOP where patients are co-programmed in both tracks.
