Narrative of Services:

I am an OCD specialist who works with adults, children, and adolescents. I primarily use CBT, ERP and ACT in my practice and often incorporate aspects of DBT when appropriate. I have a unique specialization in treating the combination of OCD and eating disorders; I seem many individuals who meet criteria for both conditions, and in many cases, individuals whose OCD and ED have intertwined. I additionally work with parents of children who are struggling with OCD using SPACE. I believe the therapeutic relationship is of the utmost importance and strive to provide a trusting, transparent, and empowering therapeutic environment.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

In addition to working with all forms of OCD, I am also an eating disorder specialist trained by a leader in the eating disorder field. I have experience and expertise in treating co-occurring trauma, depression, BFRBs, generalized anxiety, panic disorder, social anxiety, and phobias across all ages.

Training Description:

I am a clinical psychologist licensed in NY, NJ, CT, and for telehealth in FL. I completed my PhD at Fairleigh Dickinson University and my predoctoral internship at Rutgers University Behavioral Health in the child and adolescent track. I received postdoctoral training in OCD at The Reeds Center, a practice that specializes in the evidence-based treatment of OCD spectrum and anxiety disorders. I currently work at another practice that specializes in OCD and other evidence-based treatments. I have been trained and supervised by experts in the OCD field.

Diversity Statement:

I have been lucky to train and work in highly diverse urban areas such as Newark, New Jersey and all across New York City. I consider it a privilege to work with individuals of diverse racial, ethnic, gender, religious, and sexual backgrounds. My value of and respect for diversity of all forms is an inextricable part of my clinical practice. I particularly enjoy working with gender-diverse folks and find this to be an extremely important area of advocacy especially for the children and adolescents I work with.
